The campus is located at the core of the city. Building placement and height responds to the historic neighborhood context and the design includes key arrival points to the campus from the city's public transit. A landscape driven, ecologically responsive campus design. The building setbacks allow for significant and graceful campus landscape edges that ease the transition from campus to the neighborhood.
Nodes of activity are located at key areas along the site. These nodes are areas of the campus that express the collaborative social learning environment and serves as the anchor for student activity. The building emphasizes the physical and visual connection between the indoor and outdoor environment. Facades are articulated with large geometrical openings and circulation is brought to the edges of the building wherever possible.
