Play is essential to the development of healthy minds and bodies. The Government BBMP Nursery school for underprivileged kids in Bangalore lacked spaces for kids to run, jump and play. We designed a simple playground in a team of three to overcome these shortcomings. Elements included a platform playground structure, tire climb and rope walkway. The structure is both a place to play and learn. The entire playground was constructed by the use of recycled and reclaimed material collected from construction yards, Architecture firms and houses. The entire project was cost effective and the total cost came to about $84 (Rs. 6000),which we provided
